Seven farewelled longtime programming exec John Stephens recently, according to a report by the Australian Financial Review.
Seven Group chief Ryan Stokes, Seven CEO Tim Worner, SGH director Bruce McWilliam, former Seven boss David Leckie, said farewell at “a low-key but loveable send-off” at Jones Bay.
Tim Worner reportedly described him as “the only TV executive to have worked for two networks at once,” a nod to his infamous poaching by TEN last year and the legal case that ensued.
In recent times Stephens was also overseeing Melbourne programming following the departure of Graeme Hill.
