  1. Shhhh! Please don’t encourage copy catting – we’ve had enough of it this year!

Seriously though – if Nine or Seven ever did a show like Gogglebox it would only feature shows from their own network. Only Ten (and Foxtel in the case with Gogglebox) would dare use shows from other networks – like they do in Have You Been Paying Attention as well – the “guess the blood alcohol reading on RBT game” from HYBPA is now a favourite at our place!

  2. spectrum warrior

RBT repeat did very well. Why? Because there was nothing else on. Gogglebox still remain a favorite with all demographics. Might be time for 7 and 9 to produce a copycat show to run over the Christmas break. Just repeat your own shows and have a panel comment on it 😉

    • bettestreep2008

spectrum – excellent suggestion. Nine could replace The Verdict with their own Gogglebox and have Karl, Pauline, Amanda, Mark and others just sit around the table talking about The Block and Big Bang Theory.

    • Secret Squïrrel

Nine’s would be padded out with a voiceover or host recapping what people said before the ad break and massive product placement. Half of the show would be people eating at a fast food restaurant instead of actually watching television.

Seven’s would just be people commenting on Youtube videos.
