Thursday ratings rinse and repeat…

Ratings: Next to no change from last Thursday's numbers, with everybody under the magic million.

Exactly a week ago, the headline for Thursday night’s ratings wrap was “Gogglebox tops for TEN, multichannels help Nine nab quiet Thursday.”

And it’s exactly the same result this week.

No show managed to make it over the magic million with news and current affairs snaring the top #6 positions.

RBT was the top entertainment show, while Gogglebox won its slot once again. The Verdict with Michael Usher went down, not up.

While Seven won in primary channel share, yep Nine’s multichannels helped secure a win. At least next week the ARIAs will shake things up.

Nine network won with 28.1% then Seven 28.0%, TEN 21.6%, ABC 16.8% and SBS 5.6%.

Nine News was 911,000 / 898,000 then ACA (829,000), RBT (770,000 / 709,000), Hot Seat (450,000), The Verdict (419,000. I Am Innocent was just 237,000.

Seven News (966,000 / 919,000) won for Seven then Home and Away (711,000), Mighty Cruise Ships (634,000), Surveillance Oz: Dashcam (605,000), The Chase (522,000 / 355,000) and Car Crash TV (432,000 / 333,000). Amazing Race was just 141,000.

Gogglebox (643,000) led for TEN. Jamie’s Super Food was 577,000, The Project was 539,000 / 442,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 472,000 and Law and Order: SVU was 379,000.

ABC News (830,000), 7:30 (742,000), The Chaser’s Media Circus (541,000), Sherlock (335,000) and Antiques Roadshow (260,000). Please Like Me was just 141,000 on ABC.

On SBS it was Shane Delia’s Moorish Spice Journey (178,000), Destination Flavour Japan (153,000), The Fall (131,000 over 2 episodes) and SBS World News (125,000).

7TWO’s Vicar of Dibley led multichannels on 248,000.

A humble first broadcast for The 16th Inaugural Chaser Lecture on SBS 2 at 36,000 -but a cheeky tweet sent from The Verdict.

  1. Thursday 19NOV15 S203 Atlantis, S310 Longmire (next Longmire episode from Netflix), S204 Agents of s.h.i.e.l.d and S916 Supernatural. Poor old Austam, no idea what happening in the real TV viewerland

  2. Loved Gogglebox ending with something fun that has general appeal like Grease. Adam and Symon dancing as they left the room and the Doltons picking on the mum saying she is nothing like ONJ were highlights of that segement for sure

  3. Good episode of gogglebox last night. Its better when they don’t do much reality. I’ll be a returning viewer next year. I wonder if they are planning to stick with the same families or will they be getting a fresh lot next year?
