Stan has nabbed one of the new buzz-worthy shows, Deutschland 83.

The Cold War espionage drama aired on the Sundance channel in the US, making it the first German-language series to air on US TV.

The series stars Jonas Nay as a 24-year-old native of East Germany who in 1983 is sent to the West as an undercover spy for the Stasi.

On Rotten Tomatoes the series has a 100% rating from 28 reviews. Can’t argue with that…

Stan will premiere all 8 episodes from December 18.
