Aussie Matt Nable will reprise his Arrow supervillain role as Ra’s al Ghul for upcoming US series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
He will join fellow Aussie Dominic Purcell plus Wentworth Miller, Victor Garber, Franz Drameh, Ciara Renee, Falk Hentschel, Arthur Darvill, and Franz Drameh.
The series explores characters from around the world of Arrow and The Flash and will premiere express from the US 7:30pm Friday January 22 on FOX8.

The curiosity for this spin off is whether the Arrow / Flash universe which borrows DC Comics characters will expand even further during next year. Commercial considerations has limited or forbade the use of DC’s primary money earners like Batman & Superman but with Supergirl doing reasonable business, albeit elsewhere, DC may wish to further challenge the ever growing Marvel empire on the small screen.
