Angry Adelaide cricket fans give TEN a big bash
Adelaide viewers watching the Big Bash missed the last 2 overs after TEN cut to an infomercial for a massage chair.

Adelaide fans of the Big Bash League last night took to social media to vent against TEN after the game between the Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes fell short.
Instead of watching the last two overs of a gripping match fans were treated to an infomercial for a massage chair followed by a previous match.
By the time Live coverage resumed there were two balls remaining in the match.

BBL is allegedly free folks (apart from the cost of power) so until some politician comes up with the idea of TV licences enjoy it while you can.
I was so angry when this happened. I thought my TV was broken or something. Of all times for it to stuff up it had to be the final over.

i remember when this started on Foxtel no ads and in HD , but commercial TV see’s its popular buys it and loss HD pic and now cuts to ads and infomercials well done FTA great stuff up
Basically all the games are shown on One in HD in Perth.

It couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Ten are lucky they managed to show the last ball & a half or else there would’ve been an even bigger uproar in this town!
No offense David, and I know its due to the character restriction on Twitter, but more than half of those tweets make no sense. I can forgive short hand spelling but what the heck does this even mean: “for Cutting Thanks to a Game of Cricket” or this “I’m Guessing Channel 10 broadcast Stuffed up the cast during a crucial in the Match Point.”
I cant be the only person who doesnt care what people on Twitter are saying, can I? Especially if these people cant even form a legible sentence

So what happened then? Did 10 give an explanation

I like watching cricket fans kick up a fuss. Who knew they could be so angry over watching somthing as boring as grass growing.
It was bizarre. I admit I was channel swapping from the ads in The Missing, but with 12 runs off 7 thought I would stick with the BBL (I had the recorder going anyway) – suddenly TVSN is trying to sell me a chair, whilst every other indicator said I was on TEN. I changed channels a couple of times thinking the fault was mine, but no, it was TEN. Losers.
Another example of complete disrespect for viewers. Advertisers are a networks customer and to hell with the viewer.
Ten Adelaide really needs to issue a statement as quickly as possible and put the game somewhere on TenPlay or One or 11 or Ten where people can see it
Network Ten replay the BBL at 8am on One. Game was also streamed live on TenPlay, unaffected. Ten also replayed the last couple of overs for the Adelaide audience last night. What more, other than not make the mistake, would you like them to do?

BBL wouldn’t put this on 11 as this doesn’t fit the right demographic. If I was a programming director, I would simulcast this match on One.

William – I believe that 1 will be reverted down to SD when the new HD channel arrives at Ten. Perhaps it will replace one simulcast on Channel 12. Again, Ten really needs to pull their Heads in with the HD simulcast and the live streaming
