Billions now on Stan

New US  financial drama Billions, starring Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti, is now available on Stan.

The series sees Lewis as brilliant hedge fund titan Bobby “Axe” Axelrod and brash U.S. District Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) playing a dangerous, winner-take-all game of cat and mouse where the stakes run into ten figures.

Including advance online previews, the show drew 2.99 million views —the best original series debut performance ever for Showtime.

Emmy and Golden Globe winners Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis star in a complex drama about power politics in the world of New York high finance. Nine screened the first episode to viewers last night to promote the series, as it did for Transparent last year.

Two episodes are now available on Stan, which brings us up to date with the US, with new episodes available each Monday.
