Nine has something to sing about with US series Lip Sync Battle getting a renewal from Spike TV.
The series, based on a Tonight Show sketch, ranks as Spike’s most-watched series in history.
Season two which premiered in the US in January is averaging 4.4 million total viewers while the series has amassed more than 500 million video streams, including more than 50 million alone for the season two premiere featuring Channing Tatum squaring off against his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
In Australia the show launched well on the back of its lead-in from The Voice, but dropped thereafter.
The new season will film later this year.
