Did a snake just strike Shane Warne?
An anaconda does not take kindly to Shane Warne getting up close and personal on I'm a Celebrity.

TEN has sent through a promo clip for I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here which looks pretty scary for Shane Warne.
After bravely facing boxes filled with African clawed frogs, scorpions, Madagascan hissing cockroaches and rats in search of stars, Shane is presented with a box of snakes. Dr Chris Brown warns the legendary spinner that with the scent of rat on his skin, the snakes could easily think he is their next meal. As Shane lowers his head into the box, an aggressive anaconda strikes.
….what and give up show business?
7:30pm tonight on TEN.

To paraphrase Monty Python: “An Anaconda…in Africa?!”
“It could have escaped from a zoo…”
I may have missed something but I’m pretty sure I didn’t see any bite during that challenge. Seems to me like this was another ratings stunt or the word bite was used very loosely on this occasion.
0:05 – that is a massive load of bollocks… on that rat.
Sick of reading comments from people writing off the show.
If you dont like it, dont watch it…. Its clearly not aimed at you. Not every show is for every demographic.
I for one love the show and watch it every night. I think it is nice to see Channel 10 doing something different (yes i know it is the second year of the show). Its not a mind-numbing Cooking show or Home Renovation Show….
What a stupid show. Stick your head in a tank full of snakes and you might get bitten. Who knew?
OMG, that is terrible. Call Dr Chris and the SASPCA, NOW. The poor snake. It will definitely need an anti-Botox shot.
Is this show really recorded in Africa, or on a back lot set?
Does anyone know?
Does anyone care…
This show was recorded in some parts of Africa in the South Hemisphere.
If it’s a serious question (and this was unclear) then yes it is filmed at Swadini Nature Reserve beside the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Hi David – yes, serious question as the drive time programme on KissFM (wife was listening, not I) a few days ago was giving the impression that it was recorded somewhere close to a convenient green room. Wife said the jocks seemed to be treating it as a bit of a shonk.
Appreciate your learned reply. (My last line in my previous post was my typical flippant humour rising to the surface…)
Maybe it was the rare Australian Trouser Snake 🙂
Phht! That’s not so rare…
Is the snake OK? I mean, chomping down on a diet of alien DNA steeped in booze, diet pills, and ciggies can’t be good for man or beast.
Yeah yeah….
