MasterChef champ Julie Goodwin is fuming over a diet pill advertisement using her likeness in an unauthorised endorsement.

“Just want to flag this bullshit ad campaign being circulated, please know I have nothing to do with it. Total libel,” she told her 29,000 Twitter followers.

The ad gives the impression it is associated with Women’s Weekly, but uses a copycat web address.

“I have never, would never and will never endorse a weight-loss supplement,” Goodwin told The Daily Telegraph. “I’ve never advocated magic bullet solutions for anything.

“I’ve never gone out to say that my weight loss is something that others should aspire to, it is just something that happened because of my lifestyle change.

“I am devastated to have my name and image put against this type of product.”

A spokesperson for Australian Women’s Weekly also labelled it a scam and is attempting to take legal action.
