Nine has picked up another ratings night on a quiet Thursday, not so much by having big audiences, but by the decided lack of competition from Seven.

On Thursday no single show managed to crack the magic million, but Nine did slip in front of Seven in early evening viewing.

TEN’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here was on par with last Thursday, a difference of just 2,000 viewers while Jack Irish was down 65,000 for ABC to 617,000 -enough to win the slot save for any Reality crossover.

Nine News (948,000 / 932,000) was best for Nine then A Current Affair (848,000), Inside Story (644,000), RBT (605,000), King’s Cross ER (548,000), Hot Seat (479,000) and An Hour to Save Your Life (409,000).

Seven News (900,000 / 864,000) led for Seven then Home and Away (757,000), The Chase (528,000 / 352,000), The Big Bang Theory (500,000) and Movie: Safe House (369,000).

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! (719,000) led for TEN. The Project was 510,000 / 424,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 486,000 and Law and Order: SVU was 436,000 / 255,000.

On ABC it was ABC News (800,000), 7:30 (681,000), Jack Irish (617,000), Hatch Match and Dispatch (527,000) and No Offence (303,000).

  1. Do the Networks believe that we’re all out thursday-night-shopping and rely on our PVR’s? I wonder what effect 7flix will have on the Network totals next week.

  2. I watched my first full episode of IACGMOOH last night. Julia Morris and Chris Brown really are entertaining and funny together and make the show a heck of a lot more enjoyable. Can someone please organise to give them a crack at hosting the Logies? It hasn’t had a host for years and I think they could give it a good crack.
