Poor Laurina, heading for a “world record” in Celebrity challenges
It's all about casting in Reality TV, and one young lady has been pretty darn perfect for TEN.

Earlier this week Tim Campbell, husband of Anthony Callea, was asked for his view on Laurina Fleure, during I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now.
Tactfully, he noted she had proven to be great casting for the TEN jungle series and congratulated producers on including her.
He’s not wrong. So far she has provided the most conflict within the series, turning up her nose at various challenges (especially the edible ones) but also surprising by succeeding at others. The snake pit was a ripper.
Fleure has arguably become her own worst enemy on the show, igniting viewers to simply vote her into even more challenges. Tonight she enters her 10th Tucker Trial, a “blind date” with Val Lehman in and a cave full of unpleasant critters.
If she reaches 11 trials she will eclipse Janice Dickinson’s 10 trials in Season 7 of the UK series.
And Warnie thought he was doing it tough…
Told her potential “world record” Fleure joked, “I’d just like to thank my sponsors, it’s been an honour.”
And the casting guys all knew their work was done….

I enjoyed her on the Bachelor, and was hoping she’d be the Bachelorette. Laurina has been marvellous on this show. Stoic, in the face of the rest of the camp’s sniping, bitchy attitude, friendly, and resilient. I enjoy her wry asides. Also hoping she will outlast most of the others.
Laurina is TV gold. She is very divisive in my house but I really like her.
i started out hating Laurina for being the princess type but now admire her for how shes handled all the crap. Val & Jobeth bitching about her talking about working at a strip club really showed their true colors, being a big fan of Val till now but she’s quite the grumpy old woman & not terribly nice.
I didn’t really know who she was at the start of the series but she has been the star of the show in my opinion. If she gets voted out I’ll probably stop watching to be honest. The show would be a snoozefest without her.
Bravo to the casting director. She may lack a little in the celebrity stakes but Laurina has provided countless hours of entertainment. If she wasn’t in the jungle the show would be an absolute snore. No doubting she would be rather annoying to be in a confined space with but the way some of the contestants have treated her has been dreadful. Tonight’s cracker of a story about her life goal at the age of 19 was an absolute classic. Rather than be so judgemental, maybe the others could have a laugh with her.
Val is nothing but a grumpy old woman and Jo Beth is a Debbie Downer.
I think viewers are learning that you just don’t save someone because they’re nice. Julia and Chris do try and direct the audience as to who to vote for. Laurina has been Gold though. Don’t know why Dean is still there though. He might just be easy on the eye.
She certainly is good value, creating so much conflict and is totally unpredictable in her reactions during the challenges – sometimes surprisingly determined and other times infuriatingly stubborn.
Overall, I think she’s been a pretty good sport and certainly shows up Shane Warne, with all his whingeing and huffing and puffing tanties when he is chosen to do the tasks.
You’d think would have learnt by now that the more he carries on , the more the public will continue vote him in to do challenges.
Anthony is coming across as quite the petulant little diva and seems to enjoy snubbing and bullying Laurina , as do a few of the others.
I think she will outlast them and get the “sympathy vote” because of this behaviour.
Laurina is very entertaining, she comes out with some great lines. The montage of her requesting lip gloss and skin cream etc the other night was hilarious, as was the reaction from Chris and Julia. For the most part she’s been a good sport with the challenges and done as well as most. While I assume Paul is probably going to win and he is a deserving winner, I would love to see Laurina last until near the end, mainly as it would annoy so many of the other contestants, in particular Anthony who I’m sure is hoping she goes before him.
