Nine has agreed not to produce any further episodes of The Hot Plate.
Seven and Nine both lodged a mutually-agreed settlement in the Federal Court on Friday, the Australian Financial Review reports.
Nine has also agreed not to rebroadcast or distribute its first series.
Both sides will pay their own legal costs.
Seven reportedly prepared a side-by-side comparison of Hot Plate with My Kitchen Rules to argue its case.
Seven lost a 2015 injunction to stop Nine’s show from airing but was given the all clear to proceed with a full copyright case.

With no reruns or new season, this is a win for the viewers right?
Shouldn’t 7 be agreeing not to produce anymore MKR because the first half of the series is ‘come dine with me’ and the second half is ‘masterchef’?
I agree. But Seven’s mantra seems to be, we can copy, but others can’t. Benefit of having a litigious mentality.
So does that mean that 7 can produce a very similar series later in the year????
