  1. Wow!, didn’t see that coming, just goes to show that Fox must have some sports coverage agreement with Network 10. Rugby, especially the trans Tasman variety needs a lot more FTA promotion than it’s been receiving in recent years, no commercial channel has had the courage to put Rugby on against AFL and NRL, Mr Murdoch is commercial saviour who brought Rugby Union truly into the professional world courtesy of Sky and Fox Sports.

@ JamieL – its been in place since December – its nothing something that just suddenly

Channel 7 used to hold the rights the but the ARU made the stupid decision to go with fox sports over FTA…

Seven then eventually dropped their coverage…. and Rugby is struggling to get FTA exposure again.

While I’m all for all games on Fox (where I will be watching), alot of people think its their god given right to have sport on FTA in Australia, and won’t pay for TV – yet happy pay for monthly mobile phone bills, internet bills and what ever else.
