Airdate: Containment

Upcoming US epidemic drama Containment will premiere next month on Stan.

The series, based on Belgian TV series Cordon has been produced for The CW.

It stars David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood and Kristen Gutoskie. Aussie Hanna Mangan Lawrence also features.

Stan will be fast-tracking episodes same day as the US.

When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives whilst local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. Trying to keep the peace on the streets is police office Lex Carnahan, whose job is made harder by the fact his long time girlfriend and best friend are trapped within the cordoned area.

Torn apart from their loved ones, the survivors trapped within the cordon are fighting against not only fatal infection but also isolation, fear and the disintegration of society around not them. Starring David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood and Kristen Gutoskie, Containment is one not to miss.
