Good Friday Appeal raises $17.4m
Victorians and South Australians dig deep for telethons on Seven and Nine.

Victorians have donated a record $17,445,624 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Seven’s annual appeal ended at midnight last night after nearly 14 hours on air. Seven stars from shows including Sunrise, Seven News, Home and Away, The Chase, The Morning Show, 800 Words and Better Homes and Gardens were joined by showbiz and sporting stars at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The final tally included $1.8m raised by the Country Fire Authority.
Meanwhile Nine’s Easter Appeal in Adelaide raised $1,408,352 for South Australia’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Good work. The RCH appeal is a great tradition every year and well done to all that donated and also the country areas that donated. The panels were great as well last night.
