Renewed: Gotham
US series on the origins of Batman proceeds to a third season.

Dark action series Gotham has been renewed for a third season.
The show, which follows the beginnings of some of the DC Comics universe’s most famous superheroes and supervillains, stars Ben McKenzie as Det. Gordon, Donal Logue as Det. Bullock, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma (a.k.a. the Riddler), Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot (a.k.a. Penguin), and David Mazouz as young Bruce Wayne (a.k.a. Batman).
“It takes a very special team to tell the tales of Gotham,” FOX Entertainment President David Madden said in a statement.
“For the past two seasons, Bruno [Heller], Danny [Cannon] and John [Stephens] have masterfully honored the mythology of Gotham and brought it to life with depth, emotion and memorable high drama. This incredibly talented cast has redefined these iconic characters for a new generation, and we couldn’t be more proud of this show.”
Nine is yet to debut Season 2 of Gotham in Australia.

“Nine is yet to debut Season 2 of Gotham in Australia” Can’t believe the Nine Network hasn’t aired it. The U.S is up to episode 17. They wonder why pirating is so popular in Australia.

First season is available on netflix. Anyway care to share their thoughts if its worth giving a go?
Didn’t give it a go previously because it was on 9 and wasn’t sure about it being about before batman became batman.
I assume that if Nine had on-sold the show it’d already be on Foxtel – therefore they haven’t and don’t know what to do with it.
Mind you, I wouldn’t exactly be upset if Nine sold Gotham
Last time I asked Foxtel they said no.
I used to record US episodes of various shows on my PVR. No more. Can’t trust the networks to air all of the episodes or in the correct order.
Brilliant show, love the way they are treating the familiar characters in their younger days.
