Renewed: NCIS: LA, Madam Secretary, Survivor, Amazing Race.

Plus: NCIS: N.O., Scorpion, Elementary, Hawaii 5-0, Blue Bloods, 2 Broke Girls, Mom -but what's missing?

CBS has renewed a swag of titles ahead of its Upfronts in May.

They include:

Blue Bloods,
Hawaii Five-0,
Madam Secretary,
NCIS: Los Angeles,
NCIS: New Orleans,
2 Broke Girls,
The Amazing Race

They join the previously-renewed The Big Bang Theory and NCIS, while Mike & Molly, Person of Interest and The Good Wife are all ending.

Decisions on new series will be announced in the coming weeks.

Criminal Minds is not on the list, but given it is a good performer, Variety suggests its renewal could be tied to the fate of spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

The outlook for CSI: Cyber and The Odd Couple is less clear.

  1. Between 2 seasons of US Survivor getting renewed and the upcoming Australian Survivor and Survivor NZ, there are 4 seasons of (English speeking) Survivor for the next year to watch (Yay!!!)

  2. TAR better lift it’s game next season, this current one is unwatchable – the first time I’ve ever said that. Casting obnoxious youtube/viral video stars with grating high pitched screams or inflated egos was a terrible idea.

    1. I actually feel like this season is better then the last one. Sure it’s a gimmicky premise of having social media people and yes they are a little annoying but because most (if not all) are famous (or semi-famous) and make a decent living, you have less people who are worried about the cash prize and more people who are there for the experience and adventure, which is what I want to see. I prefer this type of season compared to last season where everyone was mean and nasty.

      1. I totally agree ilovetv. I have watched The Amazing Race with my family for many years and found the last couple of seasons somewhat dull. It was either nasty people or people with little to no personality. But this season I feel has freshened it up and everybody has pretty quirky or outgoing personalities that are interesting to watch.

    1. TOC got renewed for S2, which will be burnt off 2 per week in Spring. They obviously wouldn’t have announced its cancellation while the eps are still to air.

Criminal Minds they likely haggling over cast and budget with ABC Studios.

The most notable omission is Life In Pieces which is rating well. Limitless and Code Black have also not been renewed, they will be assessing them alongside options for new shows.
