Sarah Wayne Callies returning to Prison Break

Sarah Wayne Callies is returning to Prison Break for its revival.

She will reprise her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi in the event series alongside Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, who play Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, respectively.

The new series picks up after Michael’s apparent death, will see Sara has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael’s child with her new husband (Mark Feuerstein). When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever.

Callies, who recently been appearing in Colony, joins a cast that also includes Augustus Prew, Rick Yune and Steve Mouzakis.

Prison Break will premiere during the 2016-17 US season.
