SKY News has now confirmed Andrew Bolt will interview Cardinal George Pell tonight:
Cardinal George Pell will be interviewed by SKY News Contributor Andrew Bolt Live from Rome tonight (Friday 4 March) at 7:00pm AEDT on SKY News Live (Channel 601).
The exclusive hour long interview will be interruption free and also broadcast globally on Australia Channel (www.australiachannel.com.au).

Not a real fan of Andrew Bolt but this may change my perception of him. The fact that Sky news has this interview shows they are the place to go for news, not current affairs shows more interested in what toothpaste is best.
To be fair, in this case I don’t think it happened that way around – Pell has styled himself as one of the leading conservative Catholic spokespeople in Australia for many, many years now; even dating back to the days when Bolt was working as a media advisor for the Left. And, arguably, as Archbishop, that was his job.
(None of which is intended as a defence of Pell, or even a statement of my opinions on the matter.)
Every time the conservatives pick a hero (Kathy Jackson, Daniel Grollo, James Ashby, Archbishop Pell etc etc) it always ends in tears.
