Airdate: President Trump: Can He Really Win?, World’s Toughest Prisons

Not really the best week for Nine to be screening a series on World's Toughest Prisons.....

Nine has scheduled a UK documentary, President Trump: Can He Really Win?, looking at US presidential candidate Donald Trump for 9:15pm Sunday.

Donald trump has emerged as the clear front runner for the republican presidential nomination. Matt Frei investigates whether ‘the Donald’ could make it all the way to the White House.

This aired in the UK at the end of March.

It screens at 9:15pm Sunday followed by the premiere of a new series World’s Toughest Prisons at 10:20pm.

Normally you have to be a war criminal, gangland executioner, rapist or psychopath to secure a room in one of the world’s toughest prisons. Paul Connolly is none of the above but he heads to Honduras to spend a week living inside Danli Prison.

Hopefully this doesn’t include Lebanese prisons….

  1. Don’t remind them they may still have “Not Without My Daughter” on the shelves.
9:15pm Sunday – a doco on Donald Trump? Oh joy. Can’t wait. Only four more sleeps. Didn’t ABC or SBS want it?

    1. Why would ABC or SBS want a doco made by Channel 4? A doco on a US Presidential candidate made by their Europe editor at that? And to air two and a half weeks late – when those weeks have been less than good for Trump?

I’m not suggesting it’s good or bad as a program, but it’s clearly not a good fit.
