REMT hosts Edwina Bartholomew, David Koch, Samantha Armytage 1

Sunrise presenters David Koch, Samantha Armytage and Edwina Bartholomew will host a special Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2016.

This was filmed in Melbourne at Etihad Stadium earlier this year.

This special doesn’t affect ABC’s annual broadcast from Edinburgh, which is usually filmed in August and screened at New Year’s.

Featuring 1,200 performers from over 48 countries and showcasing the talents of musicians and performers from every corner of the globe. At the heart of it all the magnificent massed pipes and drums of Scotland’s famous regiments.

The Tattoo’s unique ability to bring together thousands of people for this annual celebration of music and entertainment continues to be one of the world’s most popular events.

Sunrise co-hosts Samantha Armytage and David Koch will present the world famous event for Seven, bringing the magnificent and unique blend of military ceremony, music and entertainment alive for viewers at home.

Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew will go behind-the-scenes for a rare insight into the event and will interview some of the performers involved backstage.

8:40pm Wednesday April 27 on Seven.

  1. sydney2218 was spot on. Kochie is totally out of his depth, trying to treat the Tattoo as a football match. The BBC do it right, minimal interruption, letting the spectacle do the talking.

  2. The BBC do this correctly , no ads , no self promotion & in HD .7 will stuff it up by over hyping its presenters & cross promotion.20 minutes of ads , 10 minutes of Kochie & Sam plus a soft SD telecast .
