For the first time ever the Australian Directors Guild Awards is getting a television broadcast -set to screen on the Aurora community channel.
The awards, to be held in Melbourne at the Sofitel on May 6, will screen on Aurora on Sunday May 29.
Presenting at the event are Fred Schepisi, Lisa McCune, Catherine McClements, Lucy Honigman, Mark Coles Smith, Anna McGahan, Damian Walshe-Howling, Ray Meagher, Craig Monahan and Spencer McLaren.
“The ADG is very excited that we are able to secure a broadcast of the 2016 Awards for the first time,” said Kingston Anderson CEO of the ADG. “It is very important to profile the talented directors that Australia has across all genres and the broadcast gives people the opportunity to see the depth of talent we have.”
