Australian Directors Guild to honour Home and Away director

Ray Meagher will present director Geoffrey Nottage with The Michael Carson Award at the ADG Awards.

Home and Away‘s Ray Meagher will present director Geoffrey Nottage with The Michael Carson Award at the Australian Directors Guild Awards next month.

The Michael Carson Award recognises excellence in the craft of television drama direction. Geoffrey Nottage has worked on many iconic Australian dramas and has been a director on Home and Away since 2004.

ADG CEO Kingston Anderson said: “Geoffrey Nottage is one of our most distinguished television directors. He has worked in all aspects of TV drama directing from series to serials to mini series. He is a worthy recipient of the Michael Carson Award for TV Drama Directing”.

Sue Brooks is the recipient of the prestigious Finders Award for her film Looking For Grace. The Cecil Holmes Award to lawyers Michael Frankel and Greg Duffy, for their long-term dedication to the Australian screen industry.

The ADG Awards will be presented on Friday 6th May in Melbourne.
