Television, radio and showbiz faces joined with family, friends and radio listeners in a public memorial to entertainment veteran Bruce Mansfield today.
3AW’s Denis Walter hosted the event at the Athenaeum Theatre, for the broadcaster who died of prostate cancer on Sunday, aged 71.
In attendance were long-term co-host Philip Brady, plus John Blackman, Peter Hitchener, Daryl Somers, Greg Evans, Wilbur Wilde, and radio faces Neil Mitchell, Darren James, Dee Dee Dunleavy, Peter Stubbs and Tracy Bartram.
The Herald Sun reports Bert Newton delivered a eulogy while Nightline regular Patti Newton sang One Day At A Time.
