RSL turns on party to #BringtheLogiestoDubbo
Dubbo RSL gets serious about a social media campaign to hijack the 2017 Logies.

Dubbo radio station StarFM has held its very own #BringTheLogiestoDubbo party, in a cheeky push to host the 2017 Logie Awards.
The campaign, inspired by a joke from showbiz reporter Peter Ford, has since won the backing of local MP Troy Grant, who even penned a letter to TV Week.
Showbiz names who have pledged support in social media include Julia Morris, Karl Stefanovic, Lee Lin Chin, Melissa Doyle, Stephen Peacocke, Chris Bath, Jim Wilson, Tim Gilbert, and Alex Cullen. Andrew O’Keefe has volunteered to host. Even Logies Ambassador Samantha Jade said she would be happy to attend.
The Project also featured the campaign last week.
No word if Seven would be happier with an event at Dubbo RSL than the official shebang a Crown.
