SBS appoints Head of Broadcast Technology and Systems

Sean Yuen to oversee platforms delivering content to SBS audiences.

SBS has appointed Sean Yuen, from KPMG, as Head of Broadcast Technology and Systems.

He will be responsible for the network’s technology platforms delivering content to SBS audiences.

Prior to joining SBS, he worked for KPMG as an Associate Director in their advisory practice leading digital consulting in the Telco, Media and Technology sectors. He has also worked at Accenture building their Media and Entertainment and has experience in telecommunications and media for Telstra, Seven West Media and Foxtel.

SBS Chief Technology Officer Noel Leslie said: “Sean brings extensive knowledge in both local and global trends in media and technology. With a strong focus on driving optimisation and performance change through technology, Sean will help set the technological direction for broadcast systems as SBS continues to transform into a cutting edge digital media organisation, leading the way in the delivery of world class content across multiple media platforms”.
