Screentime appoints new Scripted exec

Former Endemol Shine drama exec Kerrie Mainwaring becomes Head of Production: Scripted at Screentime.

Screentime has appointed producer Kerrie Mainwaring as its Head of Production: Scripted.

Mainwaring has been a drama exec at Endemol Shine producing Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door, Catching Milat, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart and the upcoming TEN drama Brock. She was previously Head of Production: Drama for Southern Star with credits including Paper Giants: Magazine Wars, Howzat: Kerry Packer’s War, Puberty Blues and Wild Boys, as well as having line produced Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo and Rescue Special Ops. Her earlier credits include East West 101, Spirited and the first series of Rake.

Working alongside Head of Drama Greg Haddrick she will be responsible for the management of the company’s drama slate including budgeting and reporting.

“I am delighted to be joining the team at Screentime, and to be continuing the collaboration with Rory Callaghan,” she said.

With her coming on board to work with Greg Haddrick and Peter Gawler, Screentime Drama is in for exciting times.”

The Banjay-owned enterprise is currently in pre-production on The Secret Daughter for Seven with Wolf Creek to air on Stan in May and Janet King currently screening on ABC.

  1. Let’s hope she tightens up those wasted scenes of people walking up and down stairs, looking at the camera for too long and slow motion in Janet King which slow down a good storyline. Too much time-padding in the episodes shown so far.
