SKY News election channel launches Sunday

New SKY News channel will focus on both the Australian and US Presidential elections.

A new SKY News Election Channel will launch on Sunday May 1 featuring coverage of news conferences, policy announcements and events in the lead up to both the Australian and US Presidential elections.

The launch will include the Live broadcast of US President Obama’s last speech at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner from 11:45am AEST.

The new channel will also feature replays of AM Agenda with Kieran Gilbert, PM Agenda with David Speers, Paul Murray Live, Beattie & Reith and The Bolt Report.

It will also feature coverage of the UK EU Referendum taking place on June 23rd.

The SKY News Election Channel will be part of the Foxtel Entertainment package and available on Channel 606 and Channel 648. From May 1 A-PAC, will be seen on SKY News Multiview by pressing red on the Foxtel remote.

      1. You were correct David, a note on Foxtel’s website advises the channel will close on Nov 30 and A-PAC will return. A HD simulcast will also be available from 15 May.
