TV spin-off from The Omen, Damien has been axed after just one season.
The A&E series, featuring Bradley James and Barbara Hershey, was plagued by low US ratings throughout its 10-episode run.
Creator and showrunner Glen Mazzara tweeted the news yesterday.
This hurts to say but #Damien will not be getting a second season. Thank you from all of us to our amazing fans.

“I really loved making #Damien We all did. We just never got the numbers there. Gave is our best shot.”
It aired in Australia on ELEVEN.

I gave up a few weeks back, did the series finale end on a cliffhanger or was it wrapped up?
Did Eleven end up screening all episodes, as I see that it’s missing from it’s schedule this week?
I believe they’ve played all episodes, 10 like the article says.
Not surprised. So much promise. So little delivered.
