If you’re watching Britain’s Got Talent on Nine you might want to avoid British media sites for a while.
The show has just wrapped its Grand Final and declared its 2016 winner.
The series premiered in Australia on two weeks ago, doing relatively good business for Nine (despite questions about the Aussie series not firing).
But there is a serious lag here with the series launching in the UK on April 9. Making life more complicated is that once it reaches its semi-finals in the UK it begins to screen on consecutive nights.
On Nine it’s currently once a week, which means it could be weeks until the winner is broadcast here (a big contrast to Survivor and The Bachelorette on GO!).
It’s not just sites like Digital Spy, Radio Times and The Mirror that have the winner revealed, even Australian sites Daily Mail and The Guardian have stories published, via their UK feeds.
Good luck with that…
