Daytime Emmys 2016: winners

General Hospital has won the top Drama award in the Daytime Emmy Awards held today in the US. It beat The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.

The Talk pipped The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The View for the Talk Show/Entertainment category while Extra won as Entertainment News Program.

  1. Thrilled to see Mary Beth Evans taking Lead Actress – well deserved and long overdue IMO. Great choice for Outstanding Guest Performer also.

  2. ‘Extra’ seems to have ben dropped from the 9 daytime line up yet again-sometimes shown in the wee small hours at very uncertain starts.
