Essie Davis debuts on Game of Thrones

Miss Fisher herself Essie Davis has now made her debut on HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Davis played a pantomime version of Cersai Lannister (Lena Headey) -a role for which she reportedly originally auditioned.

She appeared in briefly in the comedic performance of the Stark family saga, but also as a travelling actress, backstage.

Davis has attracted international attention from her performance in The Babadook and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.
