US drama Limitless is officially done after confirmation it will not find a new home elsewhere.
Earlier this month CBS confirmed it was not returning but it was quietly shopping the show elsewhere, including Netflix.
However showrunner Craig Sweeny has tweeted those talks have proven fruitless.

Limitless was based on the 2011 movie, starring Bradley Cooper and aired in Australia on TEN.

One of the most interesting and different shows of the new season … and surprise, surprise, something innovative and unpredictable is treated with disdain by programmers and networks. Where are all the Kerry Packer’s these days?
Even Packer could not have saved Limitless.
Clearly the show reached its limit…..guys…see what I did there….guys….guys!?
Well done Captain Obvious! Not many people can make a sow’s ear out of a silk purse so congratulations indeed. However, I did prefer the subtlety of the title of this very article.
Great show but the last few eps seemed to lose their way.
I to liked the show. I liked the premise of the show i just dont think it was translated to the screen that well at times. There were some enjoyable moments.
Really, really, really, really loved the show. It definitely in the top 5! Such a shame that it’s cancelled.
Turning it into a procedural was a big mistake, as the concept was better suited to either cable TV, or to Netflix.
I noticed TEN stopped at ep 20, do you ever think we’ll see the last 2 eps ?
TEN advises yes, but no date.
And they wonder why people download them. Hawaii Five-0 was for some reason a repeat wed, and now its not even on next week. NCIS NO isn’t on sunday and scorpion went missing last week.
That’s a shame. Really enjoyed this show.
I really enjoy it – a clever premise. I’ll have to go back and watch the original movie now…!
It comes on every month or two, so not long to wait.
It was actually on last Sunday on GO.
The film was great but the series ran out of steam very quickly.
