Kyle Sandilands may be back on TV screens -as a narrator- of a new observational series, Meet the Hockers, for GO!
GO! has commissioned 8 episodes of the series about Australian pawn shops, pitched by Sandilands, business manager Andy Hawkins and respected producer Peter Abbott.
Filming began last month at Aceben pawnbroking in Sydney last month
Sandilands, who is friends of Aceben co-owner Ben Scott, filmed a pilot for the series last year.
“[Kyle] loved the pilot, watched it with his friends and they gave him great feedback on his voiceover so we’re talking about whether he appears now in this series,” Abbott told News Corp.
Meet The Hockers is set to air later this year, whilst Pawn Stars Australia airs on Foxtel.

Is Abbott serious? Putting a divisive figure like Sandilands front and centre on the basis that his friends thought he was great?? And if he is assuming that people who like that kind of show also like Sandilands, I am an A&E fiend but wouldn’t touch Sandilands with a bargepole
