RocKwiz returns this week after its brief pause for Eurovision.
This week it’s “RocKwiz Salutes the Legends of the USA.”
This episode honours the home of the blues, the cradle of rock, soul and folk with an episode that sees soul songstress Ms Murphy cover Aretha Franklin’s hit, ‘Natural Woman’, while Eskimo Joe’s Kav Temperley takes on all 11 verses of ‘Hurricane’, Bob Dylan’s classic tale of boxer Reuben Carter’s fight for justice.
The sassy, jump jivin’ Mojo Juju joins the fun to perform the Elvis Presley hit ‘Devil in Disguise’ before everyone returns to close the show with an incredible version of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’.

I watched this Saturday night. For the performance of Hurricane, Xani Kolac was absolutely brilliant on violin and vocals of Kav Temperley were magnificent. I hope RocKwiz releases this along with a selection of other songs from this series on CD.
