Foxtel Arts-Stage & Screen

Foxtel has another attempt at an Arts review show tonight, with Stage & Screen, hosted by Deborah Hutton, premiering on Foxtel Arts.

The weekly show also features Margaret Pomeranz, Graeme Blundell, Leo Schofield and Chris Hook.

This first episode covers what’s on in theatre performances around the country, music and dance, must-see exhibitions, upcoming cinema releases and what’s on the small screen.

Margaret Pomeranz reviews Tina Fey’s new dramedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot co-starring Australia’s own Margot Robbie. Margaret then teams up with Graeme Blundell to review the much anticipated series return of Wentworth on Foxtel’s SoHo channel.

After successful international seasons including London’s West End and Broadway, GHOST: The Musical comes to Australia for the very first time and stars Rob Mills and Jemma Rix sit down with Stage & Screen for a revealing chat in between performances at Sydney’s Theatre Royal.

Arts reporter Chris Hook reviews Hay Fever, Noel Coward’s ‘exquisitely funny and irresistibly heartless comedy’ now showing at the Sydney Opera House.

Wednesday, May 11 at 8.00pm on Foxtel Arts.
