TEN week improves in ratings share

Ratings: MasterChef helps TEN to a better performance, but the week again goes to Seven.

TEN lifted in the ratings last week thanks primarily to MasterChef, while all other networks dipped.

The show scored the #5th and #6th ranks last week, amongst others. TEN even managed to come second in the 16-39 year old demos and pushing Nine to third.

But it was another win for Seven, which has won every week this year except one.

TEN: MasterChef Australia (Thurs: 1.11m), NCIS (714,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (701,000) and The Project (7pm: 645,000).

ABC: Grand Designs (872,000), ABC News (Sun: 862,000), Father Brown (787,000) and Midsomer Murders (765,000).

SBS: Great Continental Railway Journeys (379,000), DNA Nation (369,000), Greece with Simon Reeve (333,000) and Michael Mosley: Trust Me I’m a Doctor (318,000).

Seven led in 16-39 but Nine nabbed 18-49 and 25-54 demos.

Seven won Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday an Saturday. Nine took Sunday, Monday and Thursday. ABC bettered TEN on Saturday.

Seven was victorious in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine finished first in Sydney and Brisbane.
