Character actor Toby Jones is joining Sherlock as a villain for season four.
Jones (The Secret Agent, Detectorists, Wayward Pines) will star in the second episode of the new three-part series, which has now begun filming in the UK.
“I’m excited and intrigued by the character I shall be playing in Sherlock…” he said.
Co-creator, writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, says: “Delighted to have Toby Jones on board, bringing to life one of Doyle’s finest villains.”
