The Today show has another roadtrip planned for next week, with shows in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.

Co-host Karl Stefanovic said: “These We Love Australia trips are the best part about my job. Where else would you get to visit five different towns across our amazing country in a week, enjoying all the local hospitality along the way?”

Co-host Lisa Wilkinson said: “We love getting the Today team together and heading out to explore all the great destinations Australia has to offer. But this particular We Love Australia week is going to be hard to beat, with three days in the stunning Queensland warmth and two days in Aussie wine country. Karl and I still aren’t sure why the boss said yes to this, but the tickets are booked and we can’t wait.”

Broadcasting Live on the Nine Network, Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson, together with Richard Wilkins, Sylvia Jeffreys, Tim Gilbert and Ross Greenwood, will travel the nation to bring viewers a taste of some of the remarkable regions that have made our country the envy of the world.

The team will check out the exquisite coastal regions of Queensland, starting in Noosa, before making the journey northwards to Rockhampton and on to Airlie Beach.

They will then venture south to the world-renowned wine region of the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, before capping off their travels with South Australia’s German community at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.

In a series of special reports, Steve Jacobs will criss-cross the country on a mission to find the best places to entertain the kids without breaking the bank. Just in time for the school holidays, he’ll report from the Sydney Maritime Museum, the Collingwood Children’s Farm, the Holden State of Origin Kids’ Challenge in Sydney, the Aranyani Bison Adventure Tourist Park in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, and the spectacular Butterfly House in Coffs Harbour.

The streets of Logan in South-East Queensland will be abuzz with ecstatic locals when Dami Im returns to her hometown following her incredible performance at Eurovision. Richard Wilkins will be centre stage at Dami’s old school, John Paul College, for an extraordinary homecoming concert by the star singer.

During the week-long travel adventure, viewers will meet ordinary Australians with extraordinary stories to tell from the breathtaking places they call home. There will be plenty of famous faces joining the team along the way. Plus, be sure to tune in for the highly anticipated return of the hugely popular Dickie’s Double Dip.
