Election 2016: ABC guide

It’s the last 7 days before the Federal Election and ABC has a big week ahead.

ABC will deliver the most comprehensive multi–platform election coverage in its history on television, radio, mobile, social and online.

Journalists include: Leigh Sales, Chris Uhlmann, Barrie Cassidy, Annabel Crabb, Sabra Lane, Michael Rowland, Virginia Trioli, Julia Baird, Patricia Karvelas and more. ABC Election Analyst Antony Green will participate in his tenth Federal Election.

A geo-block will be lifted so international viewers can live-stream ABC News 24’s continuous coverage worldwide all day at abc.net.au/news24.

SATURDAY JULY 2

ONLINE & MOBILE

ABC News Digital will deliver live coverage of election day and right throughout the night at abc.net.au/news as well as on the ABC app, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Vine and in email updates. As well as all the latest election news, reporters from all states and regional areas will contribute to the live blog coverage with updates from polling stations and key electorates.

As the votes are counted ABC News Digital delivers live results straight to your mobile and online at the ABC News website. Keep up-to-the-minute with how the leaders are tracking, the latest numbers for each electorate and the overall House and Senate counts.

ABC News reporters will be providing news updates on Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as behind the scenes photos and video.

During the day Snapchat reporters from around the country will take users through interesting electorates in their respective states, and you’ll also get a sneak peek behind the scenes at the ABC’s Election Centre.

There will be Facebook Live broadcasts throughout the day from journalists on the road, as well as on the night with National Affairs Correspondent Greg Jennett, breaking down the key developments after the result is announced.
