Comedian and self-proclaimed political tragic  Sammy J has an election-themed ‘kids show for adults,’ Sammy J’s Playground Politics.
“Tony Jones and Leigh Sales do fabulous work, but I feel the ABC’s coverage has suffered from a lack of songs and craft activities. I cant wait to show my audience how to create their very own smear campaign, read them the Three Little Negatively Geared Pigs, and construct an immigration detention centre using nothing but an egg carton and a bucket of tears,” he says.
“There’s never been a more exciting time to be a small fabric doll that strongly resembles Malcolm Turnbull.”
Begins Monday June 13 on iview.

I like Sammy J’s humour. Not sure why this is being launched on iView when there are so many repeats on ABC2. The ABC should commission more of Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane and not bother about the six pilots that are in competition.
I suspect they are short length. ABC is also moving towards being platform-agnostic as evidenced by exec changes.
Thanks. I wondered if the eps were going to be <15 min. Being platform agnostic is fine but surely new content on broadcast TV is preferable to (lots of) repeats, esp when the repeats aren't rating that highly.
