In happy casting news TV’s very own Wonder Woman Lynda Carter is set to appear in Season 2 of Supergirl.
She will play the President of the United States, in the third episode of S2.
The news is hardly a surprise after executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg revealed their plans back in March. They had hoped Carter would appear in the first season, but the timing didn’t work out.
Carter’s appearance follows guest roles by Lois and Clark star Dean Cain and Supergirl (film) actress Helen Slater, who play Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) adoptive parents.
