There is speculation former Seven boss David Leckie is keen to return to an executive TV role -at Seven or elsewhere.

Currently a Consultant for Seven, the Daily Telegraph notes his contract expires in the next few weeks and that the 65 year old is seeking” one last chance to shake things up” at Seven, another network or even radio.

Chairman Kerry Stokes is believed to be taking a personal interest in his future.

The article suggests his future has been the focus of much discussion at Seven’s Pyrmont bunker.

The colourful and now-trimmer exec, once described by a rival network spokesperson as “a danger to shipping” was succeeded as managing director of Seven in December 2011 by Tim Worner.
