I just saw her the other day in a Seinfeld re-run on 111. Sad to see another talent lost.
she was hiliarious on The Nanny. plus a movie that she was in; Grumpier Old Men (she played Sophia Loren mother) she was funny in that as well. RIP
Yetta will be greatly missed. A brilliant character actress and funny as hell.
We’ve lost a number of funny women in recent years and Ann was certainly one of those. She was often the scene stealer in The Nanny. I didn’t realise till reading this obit that she had such an integral role on the trail blazing Dick Van Dyke Show. The last thing I saw her in was the feature Please Give starring Catherine Kenner. Great character actor.
In The Nanny, they did a skit at the end once, that referenced Dick Van Dyke and Ann’s role in that show.
