Alexander England is joining the cast of Offspring, as Harry Crewe, a Crisis and Culture Manager at St Francis Hospital.

Harry is described as a man who takes his job, and himself, seriously. He immediately puts Nina (Asher Keddie) offside but as both will learn, first impressions are not always what they seem.

TEN Head of Drama, Rick Maier, said: “This fantastic ensemble continues to attract the most accomplished actors in the country and Alexander is a very welcome addition. His character Harry arrives at a time of crisis and very quickly finds himself in the eye of a storm at St Francis. Like all of us, he must wonder just what he’s let himself in for.”

Producer, Endemol Shine Banks, Imogen Banks, said: “I think it’s fair to say that everyone who meets Alexander either wants to be him, or to be with him. He’s that kind of man. We are so thrilled he said yes to joining the gang.”

England is also a favourite of producer John Edwards having appeared in Paper Giants: Magazine Wars, Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch Story, Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War and The Beautiful Lie.

He joins from 9pm Wednesday, 27 July.
