John Barrowman poised for more DC series

John Barrowman, who has appeared as Dark Archer (aka Malcolm Merlyn) in US superhero series Arrow, is set to appear in more DC Comics titles.

He has inked a new deal that will see him potentially recurring across spinoffs The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

The agreement is similar to one signed by Wentworth Miller earlier this year to have Captain Cold as a recurring adversary throughout the Arrow universe.

Barrowman’s Dark Archer was Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) major antagonist in Arrow‘s first season, and has made recurring appearances throughout the next two years.
