Nickelodeon cartoon The Loud House will make history when it features the first same-sex couple to appear on the network.
Harold and Howard McBride, will be voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald, in the episode “Overnight Success.”
The episode shows them fawning over Clyde when they drop him at a sleepover at the Loud household.
Just before they arrive on the scene, Lincoln Loud shouts: “This is it. Time to make history!”
The scene doesn’t fuss over their sexuality, instead focussing on parenthood.
“No nuts, no gluten, no sugar and be careful with orange juice. You know how you get with pulp,” Brady’s character warns.
“They grow up so fast!” McBride adds.
