9Life will be broadcast from 6:00am on Sunday 17th July on Channel 54 in Southern Cross markets: Canberra, Wollongong, southern NSW, regional Victoria and regional Queensland.
Originally the channel was set for mid-August due to the need for new equipment, installation and testing prior to going to air.
Southern Cross now advises work has been fast-tracked and the date brought forward.
Shows such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dinner Date, Millionaire Matchmaker and Beachfront Bargain Hunt, and The Bachelorette (US) will be resume shortly.

As the “Illawarra Mercury” so aptly stated – “9Life channel’s free-to-air feed of junk TV restored for regional viewers from July 17.
“I would not expect any new FTA channels on satellite service as there is a mexican stand-off as to who should shoulder the costs.”
And yet every other FTA channel is carried. Why have a war over 7flix? I got a MyStar decoder box because Foxtel convinced me that, not only would I get their channels, but all the local channels as well. Come on Foxtel/Seven get your act together, share the cost maybe, but let’s have 7flix!
Any word on when Prime will be adding 7Flix?
No nothing advised.
i live in regional queensland and I still don’t have 7flix yet on my tv
It has been available in regional Qld since launch. Your TV must not be MPEG-4 capable. Either get a set top box , a new tv or stream it .
7flix is now MPEG2.
But still not available on Foxtel satellite service. I know I can watch it on FTA but sometimes I would like to record it and the MyStar box is my recorder.
Is there any indication if and when Foxtel might carry 7flix?
I would not expect any new FTA channels on satellite service as there is a mexican stand-off as to who should shoulder the costs.
Why not retune your TV to find out whether you have 7flix or not?
Heavens knows why they did not buy the equipment when the ink was done? WTF L am not understanding WINtv. They are showing their channels on 84 on a loop but their list differs to watch is showing. They say Channel 81 is One but l have it on 83. 81 is Ten on SD. They say TVSN will be on 84 but it’s on 85. More changes or are all my TV’s weird?
They did order the equipment as soon as the deal was done, they’ve explained it needs to come from Europe, be installed and tested. What you may need to do with your TV is reset to shipping condition and rescan, that is what I did to get the correct numbers. Win and SCA should have never said a rescan was not necessary because it was.
I had the same issue, re-scan your TV and it will fix itself
I manually scanned all TVs and nothing changed but l will do a new total scan.
Cue the complaints from Tasmania and Regional SA.
And Regional W.A., M.I.A., and Mildura who have had their 9life feed replaced with a titlecard of WIN’s new channels.
