George Harrison was the youngest member of the world famous group the Beatles. Harrison was melancholy member of the group, who had a great sense of humour, the simple spiritual man who had a passion for motor racing and enjoyed his immense wealth. This documentary explores his life journey with interviews with those that were close to him. Through rare film footage, witness his undoubted musical talent, his time with the Beatles, and his long held spiritual beliefs that were a comfort to him until his un-timely death at just 58. (1hr)

  1. This could turn into a Monty Python sketch:

To celebrate 20 years since the remaining The Beatles and a tape recorder got together to record….
To celebrate 40 years since The Beatles almost performed together again on Saturday Night Live….
To celebrate 47 years since The Beatles final performance together on top of Apple Corps Roof…
To celebrate 50 years since The Beatles decide to stop touring….
…Foxtel Arts has a month of Beatles specials coming.

Pfffft The Beatles what have they ever done for us

    1. The Beatles final public performance was the impromptu concert on 30th January 1969 on the rooftop of the Apple building.(I googled it.)
By my calculation that would make the anniversary 47 years. But who’s quibbling.
